YouTube no problem and thank you so much for joining us at the fifth grade is the Year celebration here we have our program for the celebration we will give you a few moments to read over a what the program is going to consist of alright so first up in our program we have the welcome which will be given by Miss Karin Hobbs correct thank you greetings and salutations to all of my out to all of my fellow Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University developmental research teachers faculty administrators staff and the proud families of my fellow classmates we are here today to celebrate the 2019-2020 5th grade class Jigglypuff starting Middle School amazing here working with all of my classmates and being the people of my awesome teacher Misty and Miss Coleman but today we are not only here to celebrate the impeccable achievements that we have made academically or a fifth grade classroom in sixth grade but we are selling finishing the year during the time of crisis 1019 strut across the world began to close down eventually family DRS. Costco steamed bun and everyone thought that we would be back in school within two weeks time as time progressed the day of us staying at home starting to add on and on until it was announced that the students ARS would not be returning for the rest of the Academic Year this truly shattered me and many of my other classmate I know that we most of us were with Orchard field trips and fun days last week of school aunt we will not have those kinds of information 5th grade pets are billions of other children in other grades in school across the world even during a time of Crisis we still managed to complete all of our sign in stay on top of our nails and finish this year with a bang let's take the time to think about the good memories the elementary years we were able to finish together let's think the teachers administrators parents and staff and classmates who put up with everything put up with all the drama and foolishness and Olive and help us solve our problems this has been one of the best school years of my life let's celebrate our great achievements and make sure that we have a great ceremony even though we won't be able to be together select remember everybody we will get through this because like has Reckless Love to say we will strike and strike and again thank you baby Rattlers thank you so much for that awesome awesome awesome welcome next we have for special students from the 5th grade class who will deliver a speech and the first person is Mr Jeremiah Turner all right good afternoon baby Rattlers my name is Jeremiah Turner but I guess you already know that first I want to congratulate all of my fellow 5th grade graduation an amazing teacher teacher have made learning fun for us you are one of the reasons why we are here today Castle Gardens I also want to congratulate you for your love and support because without you we really would not be on our way different we have had some tough times in 5th grade and challenging situations but we have also had some great times and I can definitely tell you that this is a year that I will remember the most I want to take all of my friends for being there when I needed you ever allow me to be there when you needed help and just know that no matter what I will always be there for you we're on our way to middle school and a little bit scary but just remember that everything we have learned in elementary school has gotten us ready for this next up now I will tell you some tips for middle school but I haven't been there yet so just know that whatever happens to Medical we will always be here for you aeromedical and don't mind and soul medical might be harder it will be a lot easier knowing you have great friend I don't know and at all with a Doctor Martin Luther King Junior if you can't fly the run if you can't run then walk if you can't walk crawl but whatever you do keep on running Easter thank you sir awesome speech next we have Miss Kennedy Whitaker congratulations we made it we can put this together and move to the next let's not forget what we learn to adapt address and dominate out of nowhere covid-19 hit and we were checking out of Norm no friends no gas no to talk with me, and no tasty snacks from the system adapt to Virtual School school at first for a few weeks the things you start to feel crazy or just now we have to be responsible for our exam who is going to get Miss Coleman Domino's no friends no problem we can talk and FaceTime we hold each other accountable for assignment and we will see each other with the bus with music help while maintaining Asia be ready to chill in 6th grade let's go Chiefs stick grade ready to dab address and Domino thank you thank you thank you Candy great speech next we have mr. Malik Webb however before I commencement speech I would like to thank God all of the faculty and staff especially my mom to never let me settle School Miss Alaska this is Alexa we've all learned coronavirus from our everyday typical schedule there are so many memories that I will take with me art in the vineyard in his class glasses dancing and doing all the elementary teachers appreciate your memories will be cherished and a lot of the other piece that's the way to the middle school building it's golden lyrics how do you become great at everything, and I believe every last one of us has worked hard for this moment right here it's a new school year congratulations to the electric thank you for that speech thank you for that speech mr. I just had to know so my love cuz we are going through a crazy time but you know congratulations to all my 5th graders supposed to lose kid mister congratulation baby Rattlers from the cafeteria we love your eyes it's Miss Destiny and I decided to stop by congratulations on graduating from the fifth grade fifth grade like Lube I was just yesterday that is like little babies and I are going to go to school and I am so so so so so proud of you guys always remember to stay humble stay awesome the amazing space is cool you guys are dead that the kids and I know you're going to go out and do awesome things to all my girls with me loving caring strong and powerful into my teens cause you know where we stand to all the boys I want you guys to always say. a respectable stay smart stay in school think of the colleges think of everything that you're trying to do I remember that you could be athletes that you got to have a plan B to I love you guys and congratulations on say congratulations to the fifth grade I hope you enjoy your summer and just continue to do great things and be ready you are wonderful group of Scholars and I expect great things from you there's nothing you can do. You set your minds to do not focus on what commitment and dedication and make it happen best wishes and do your best in all things take care of yourself during this pandemic your former principal Elijah keys just wanted to congratulate Fillmore Elementary on the Middle School grad congratulate Test 5th grade happy graduation from Drew and Miss Davis congratulations proud of you guys you just don't know it just makes my heart sing sing you guys are graduating with the class of 2020 and will be in middle school next year oh my God I can't believe it but I love you all and I wish you all the best again congratulations class of 2021 hello baby rat I wanted to come back quickly congratulations you all have successfully completed your Elementary career and I am extremely proud of each and everyone of you and all of your hard work and your accomplishments I know that you all will go on to middle school and once again congratulations and I am so proud to have been apart of your Elementary career we are gathered here today to celebrate more than a decade of life learning I am so proud of each and every one of you it has been a pleasure watching any of you grow academically and socially since Kindergarten now you're on your way to middle school I'm so happy for you as you Embark upon this journey please remember to always believe in yourself be a leader not a follower and know that I am rooting for you I love you all by your accomplishments you all were mine third grade class and I miss seeing you all in the hallways now that we are out but I'm going to really miss seeing you in the hallways good luck and let's go to the FAMU DRS his fifth grade class of 2020 you've made it you challenge yourself to be the best that you could possibly be the world always use nothing you are the change agent that we look for for our future I wish you all the best each and everyone of you the perseveres and challenge yourself to be the best that you can possibly be this has been an unprecedented year and you showed what you were made of you didn't stop you persevered until the final day of fifth grade going to middle school with all the things pack you will be the best middle schooler that you can possibly be and remember those years ago by fast so I challenge you to give it all you be the change agent that we need to see in you believe in yourself and never stop learning congratulations again and I hope to see you soon take care bye hello wonderful wonderful 5th graders soon-to-be 6th graders I just want to say that I'm so very very proud of all of you guys it's been a long year a very challenging year but you guys have done it yet made it through the year at the end of it next year you guys will be 6th graders and I'm just so proud of you guys I'm so proud of the entire 5th grade class of 2020 so congratulation guys hi this is Officer Ron Davis from the College of Education and I am so excited you are going to middle I am so so very proud of you but I am going to miss my favorite favorite words for my favorite 5th graders in the world say it with me now you know what you say when I walk into the building morning sisters part about you leaving but I'm so happy for you keep striking Rattlers congratulations 20/20 the time has come for you to close your chapter of elementary school and moved Endeavor in Middle School how do you move forward mrs. burn Alice wants you to remember three theory important tools number one live everyday life's purpose remember no one is in charge of this but you to discover what your purpose for Life number 2 where there is a problem there is always a solution do not let a problem get you down work through it to discover what the solution is you never know when you were the first to discover a new solution number 3 live your life joyfully when times are tough living life through Joy will help you to be an overcomer it doesn't only help you but it helps others so proud of each one of you and continue to change the world but remember you can always count on us for support congratulations you are loved very much from your Elementary DRS family bright the movie on at this time we have a special presentation which will be given by Miss time she has something very very awesome to share what it is for a student someone to pause for a moment I'm going to stop my staring to allow Miss Hart good afternoon life is. 5th Grader thoroughly enjoy being your teacher this year teachers and you having body that energy everyday should be home I cried when I schedule today and even though our time in the classroom with short live it has been an honor to still see your faces in the hall and for you to still come into my classroom throughout the year during lunch for a quiet place to study or take a test aren't you just talk your level of enthusiasm for learning inspired and pushed me as a teacher to try new things and figure out new ways to keep thinking I will continue to throw background pictures and to say that I look forward to the last two class periods of my day this past fall would be an understatement the way that each of you together helping each other to read tire and work harder make you the kind of class that features dream about and look forward to teaching everyday you already understand what it often takes many adult a lifetime to figure out which we always you are truly family and it is next year I will be watching your growth and development and will continue to expect you to strike with excellence in all things I love you and congratulations students who have done some really cool things in God above and beyond this year developmental research school has partnered with the Duke University Talent identification program which honors and acknowledges gifted and talented students who score within the 90th percentile of span of standardized tests and invitations were sent to several students this year and some of you and big braids accepted this is a talent search that is through for fourth through sixth grade students and then there's also special 7th grade Talent search caliph uthman Karin Azaria Jean delete web Kamari Williams please make sure that you give those students at hand and congratulate them next time you see them those students will be receiving electronic copies of their certificates and they will also C1 by mail again I love you all very much and I know that you were going to be fabulous middle and high school store Scholars I continue especially because you were my daughter's class watching your  and in the years to come baby Rattlers and make us proud sorry about that time at this time we are going to jump into our end of the year class video and let me tell you this was Friday because even though we did not get to finish the end of the year. Having the full 4th 9 weeks trust and believe that we had plenty of videos and pictures and memories the last us a lifetime without further adieu I have for you a video the 2019 20 great class largest 5th graders in the world give me some Rainierland your hair is your yeah it's not Market please please please pretty please Aiden is my best friend. cityfeet what don't stop well I just parked. navigate navigate Lowe's tissues that we had to go get hers spine wow you hope you guys enjoy that moving on next we have our closing remarks and first up with the closing remarks have Miss blank are free mom at Wiley I need her hello hello hello baby Rattlers I'm so excited about all of the things that you can come and you getting to this day and I hope that you are excited I know I am and I know that I'm super proud of you and there's just one thing that I want you to remember something that we say every day when we were at the and I want to continue to remember this as you go along because middle school is going to be another world and they're going to be some things that are going to be difficult but I always remember number one who you are remember how great you are do not forget that it helps you made plans and out all the time over and over again but that's because I want you to stay it until you actually believe it and I know it without a shadow of a doubt that way when it gets time for all of those hard moments in middle school you can remember it and it comes back and you can walk confidently and be who you were created to be so I want to tell you one I'm going to see you because I want you to feel this after mation and I want you to be encouraged and I want you to receive it so that way if you walk through a successful and Company are you ready school-wide affirmation you will be great you will walk in excellence you are strong you can do this you will produce positive results you are worthy of great things and you will never be your mistakes so don't forget that even as you go to middle school I know you won't be able to hear me said on the morning announcement anymore but you can write it down in your own journal and you can say it to yourself each and every morning as you want not just in middle school high school College Avenue continue to remember how great you are how awesome you are because this transition from elementary to Middle is not a small transition and a lot of times this trying to help the trajectory of your life I want you to make sure that you have those affirmations deep down in your gut deep down in your spirit in your mind and in your heart so that way you walk in the greatness that you were purpose to do I love you guys I love you love you love you love you I'm going to miss guess what we're only one building away stuff, don't forget that and I know it's mostly said hey don't come tapping on your window but you know what she really wants cuz we want to see your face so be encouraged be successful be who you were created to be don't be afraid to be who you are remember how much we love you in the elementary school thank you guys so much thank you for that Chris Swaim next we have our closing remarks from our superintendent mr. Johnson can you hear me all right hey congratulations 5th graders to these magnificent teachers thank you to miss Swain thank you for your leadership and two parents thank you for entrusting your beautiful young mind - 2 congratulations I love 5th grade always called a continuation I am a former 5th grade teacher calculated 25 years ago but love fifth grade in love with is happening in our 5th grade I under the leadership of Miss Wayne and teacher so thank you guys more to hearing and great things and school your Rising middle schooler now and just continue to strive for excellence that is our started we shoot for his excellence and I have no doubt that we will all achieve this as early as is Korean said this was the way we wanted to end school year for my first year as superintendent being here on a computer address and you but you know what I think we better than anyone else I would say not only in Tallahassee but in Florida better than most done in that's because of all of you guys for thank you guys so much congratulations celebrate the time and let's gear up and get ready the middle again thank you for allowing me to spend and I wish nothing but the best be safe this summer I make safe decision and continue to move forward thank you guys so much thank you thank you so much for that mr. Allison Watson why is the dean of the College of Education ceremony today it was wonderful I love seeing all of your bright faces and Miss Ernestine you have me crying because you were crying that is not fair I remember my 5th grade year very very well I was the tallest in my class I have my first African-American teacher Miss Moody and I was just very awkward and I do not have any much anywhere near the self-assurance that you all I have and I just want to say your teacher or your parents or grandparents your aunts and uncles and your siblings and our great leader mr. Johnson and Miss Swain you all have really poured into this 5th grade class in every way I'm so so proud of you all just fight covid-19 you all have Chris through and you just so nothing but act like I'm very proud of you I want to leave with a poem that I thought was spitting for your fifth grade promotion to Middle School you're going to be big-time 6th graders next year and this poem is entitled let no one steal your dream by Paul text and it says let no one steal your dreams let no one tear apart the burning of ambition that fires the drive inside your heart let no one steal your dreams but no one tell you that you can't let no one hold you back let no one tell you that you won't set your sights and keep them fixed that's your sights on high let no one steal your dream your only limit is the sky let no one steal your dreams follow your heart follow your soul for only when you follow them will you feel truly whole set your sights and keep them fit set your sights on high let no one steal tell your dream your only limit is the sky this Raiders the sky is the limit this is only the beginning 6th grade marks a new chapter and you're going to come back to Middle School stronger Boulder smarter more equipped to go forth and carry on I'm so proud of you and as your Dean I hope to see you on the hill as a college student and just a few short years take care and thank you for this amazing ceremony dr. Watson beautiful next coming from the teachers we have none other than mister saint-sernin Colorado by what's going on everybody that I could be long-winded so but I try my best to make the not as long as I usually do in the classroom I so here goes my final speech first and foremost I would like to congratulate my students on a major accomplishment of completing the 5th grade next I would like to thank all of the parents for their hard work I would also like to thank the administration and staff at Ben Tiaras for their Helping Hands throughout the school year last but certainly not least I would like to thank miss calling for not only being a great team member also being a great role model for myself and our student I wrote a letter to you all and Gyarados d d 5th grade who would have thought that March 12th would be our final day with each other I would have gave my final high fives and hugs that day I want to thank you all helping me grow as an educator in a person one thing I kids nobody is is that we are emotional so bear with us. There were many days where I was stressed out from Terra use but you all make me feel better with your awesome personalities and hilarious jokes it is time to prepare your tools in your heart so that you can embark on your new journey to Middle School these next 3 years will be easy I can assure you that it is possible to get through if you believe in yourself and work hard you all are capable of becoming whatever you want to be in life go to my future doctors Warriors Pro Sport players musicians artists engineers architectures and educators get ready to take that jump Too Faced love restaurant Worland St TS it's never good-bye it's a strong see you later thank you thank you mister sign for those awesome awesome awesome words we have in common with her closing remarks which is the moment everyone I don't have to do it that way sorry I haven't some screen sharing started congratulations to 2019-2020 5th grade baby rabbits I could not be more proud of your accomplishments and achievements this year you being your teacher has been Legend on having the opportunity to watch you learn and grow has been simply truly amazing as some of you may know I and I was last year you may not know is that this particular group was my unofficial class and business class during my first year teaching them my second grade and they held true that day other elementary school year following we were looking forward to each other so course we were totally devastated to know that I was being rude but that is gave us something even more to look the following year this year we were able to learn together and it truly has been the best year yet to the parents I would like to say thank you thank you so much for sharing your children with us each day thank you for trusting our judgment and teaching abilities in the quest of guiding your children thank you for understanding that we are equally invested in your child's learning and appreciate the hard work you have done as well because we know virtual school is not exactly the easiest thing to do 3 minutes thank you so much for all of your help and support because also without you we know that getting lawyer would have not been as much of a breeze am I student you did it you made it and I could not be more proud and Amir Coleman you know it would have been with the Coleman if I didn't write you guys a little words rhyme with poem I didn't really have a title for this someone call it to my students try not to cry and I am emotion the day has finally arrived the day you 6 years of Elementary over a middle schooler has become we have a great school year and by great I mean just that weather in Adrian Kennedy Marquis making thousands of Tik Tok when we reach our goal. Being a creep playing rock-paper-scissors on Friday or listening the Wonderland is brat the times we had together we're awesome we dance we learned we cried never forget the good times whether it was battling Memphis ain't dancing or scaring me a some random questions about the sky we have memories I couldn't be more proud proud of who you become and now you're off to middle school three more years to get it done hard work takes dedication and each of you possesses just that keep your head on straight focused on a spelling and never look back remember one of his calling baby things to say on a daily handle your business you know what I'm saying last thing I want you to remember is always be you don't let others tell you what to do you are the captain on the sea that your success and I have complete faith in the Middle School you'll be nothing less than the back on word You Go-Go on I'm proud of you 20/20 fifth grade you made it do what it thank you so much alright thank you thank you those are my final remarks appreciate everyone, me news so you're saying we appreciate you guys for coming taking the time out of your busy day to come and celebrate these students Christopher Knight last words thank you thank you everyone that was a great year was a great year great year definitely going to miss you all whenever I'm in Tallahassee always make sure to stop by and y'all know I'm coming deep with some pizza for you all too so I miss y'all yes we got to get these tears out of us it is time cue the confetti it is time to turn up and one of the songs hopefully been granted hopefully mrs. paint hopefully off-limits to say they going to remember what we taught them body all the 5th graders the stand up stand up you got to see it is time to party with mrs. Saint and me easy added that rhyme the after party if you have to go we totally understand what it would not be a favorite party when starting up a little formula
