Effective immediately, FAMU DRS is closing its campus until April 15, 2020.
No one may enter any building on FAMU DRS’ campus during this time.
This closure includes the gym and the cafeteria (breakfast and lunch will be provided via drive-up procedures addressed in earlier communications). The superintendent’s office will be the only FAMU DRS office open until further notice. Please adhere to this closure for your safety as we continue to monitor the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
Though the physical campus will be closed until April 15, 2020, beginning Tuesday, March 24, 2020, teaching and learning will continue through online/distance learning. All FAMU DRS teachers will have their Google Classrooms and teacher webpages set up to facilitate learning (both are accessible through the FAMU DRS website at famudrs.org). Students and teachers are expected to engage in teaching and learning on a daily basis. Our goal is to support all of our students in their continued educational journeys.
