Students continue to help A.I. clean the oceans by training it to detect trash! Learn about training data and bias, and how AI can address world problems.
This tutorial is designed to quickly introduce students to machine learning, a type of artificial intelligence. Students will explore how training data is used to enable a machine learning model to classify new data. Students should have a positive experience during the tutorial and more importantly should be motivated to keep learning computer science.
Students Please only do Level 2- Machine Learning &Levels 5-8 Train AI to Clean the Ocean.

Tech students, Continue with your coding puzzle on code spark academy. Set your timers for 35 to 40 mins while doing this activity.
Student Objective:
Student can create a simple algorithm.
Explore(30 to 40mins) Coding Detective - Sequencing, Level 1-8
Also please note that the student code is only good for 7days. Once a device is logged in, it stays logged in indefinitely and students don't need to enter a code again. If a device is logged out for any reason, I will need to generate a new code for the entire class. All already-logged-in devices will stay logged in. If you lose access to your account please email me at [email protected]

Wk 1 Lesson_ Aug 31,2020 : Computer lab/ Coding practice worksheet
Students, will use colors and directional commands to move through the mazes and avoid the
Emoji faces.
This activity was designed for the youngest coders. As students are just starting out, encourage
use a pencil and trace a path from start to finish. When you are done, you may color in
each box according to the command needed to move from one box to the next.
These mazes cover the first step in the computer coding process.Use
this has your recording sheet at the end of this document. Once you complete your maze, you can
transfer your commands onto the recording sheet to create their “program”. Assign a partner if possible and
have them check each other’s work for bugs.
