FAMU DRS National Jr. Beta Club Participates in World Down Syndrome Day
March 21, 2023 (3.21) was World Down Syndrome Day, signifying the third copy of the 21st chromosome. We all strive for our students to exemplify empathy and embrace everyone’s differences. So, we took part in supporting this event by wearing specially designed t-shirts and our crazy socks. We Rocked Our Socks for World Down Syndrome Day!
FAMU DRS National Jr. Beta Club - Read Across America Day (Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss)
On Thursday, March 2, 2023 the FAMU DRS National Junior Beta joined the rest of the world as they celebrated Read Across America by reading to the DRS Elementary students. Junior Beta students joined librarian Ms. Pratt for 2 hours to read to the students as they came to the library. We had a blast reading to the students.
