FAMU STEM Day 2022

Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, along with the College of Science and Technology, NSF HBCU-UP, NSF FGLSAMP, NSF ADVANCE & NNSA, invite you to attend our 8th Annual STEM Day. This event is for ALL students in grades 6 – 12. STEM Day 2022 is scheduled for Saturday, April 2, 2022, in the Alfred Lawson Center for registration and opening sessions.  MASKS are REQUIRED, and ALL CDC guidelines will be firmly adhered to to ensure the safety of ALL participants.   

STEM Day is designed to increase students’ interest in pursuing careers in science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM) fields, and other STEM-related disciplines. This event will highlight the various STEM activities on FAMU’s campus. Students will experience the different aspects of STEM with hands-on problem-solving experiments and various demonstrations within the various STEM disciplines. We are excited about the activities that have been planned for this event, as we are confident that you will enjoy them all.  

We anticipate approximately 1000-1200 middle and high school students from across the country this year. For your child to participate in STEM DAY 2022, the following consent forms are REQUIRED when registering online: 1.) Permission and Hold Harmless Form 2.) Photo/Video and Statement Consent, Release, and Covenant Not to Sue Form. Conditions on both forms MUST be ACCEPTED/APPROVED and signed electronically when registering for this event. NO EXCEPTIONS!
