FAMU DRS Art Teacher Exhibits His Work

FAMU DRS Art Instructor, Sylvester Peck, Sr., will exhibit his painting, “The Violin Player” in the “Voices of FAMU Art Program: A Collection of Six Decades of Art” Exhibition presented by Foster-Tanner Fine Arts Gallery at FAMU Foster-Tanner Fine Arts Gallery, Tallahassee FL. The exhibition opens on Thursday, February 27, 2020. The opening reception begins at 5:30 pm and lasts until 8:00 pm. Mr. Peck is a graduate of the Florida A&M University Fine Arts Department and a professional visual Artist who specializes in Acrylic Painting.

 

This exhibition will feature works of art by FAMU Fine Arts alumni spanning the decades of 1960 until the present. FAMU Fine Arts alumnus and Associate Professor of Art, Harris Wiltsher curated this inaugural exhibition as an accompanying event for the celebration of the FAMU College of Social Sciences Arts and Humanities Reunion taking place this April.
