On Friday, November 15, 2019 from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm, T.B. Darks, author of “The Fluffy Adventures of Fromo: A Sticky Situation” (2019) and “Wash Day” (2018), will visit the FAMU DRS Media Center and share stories of reading, writing, and the creative process with students in Grades 2-6.
The “Author’s Day at FAMU DRS” series was developed by Mrs. Artency Jean, the FAMU DRS Library Media Technician. Mrs. Jean enjoys fostering a love for reading with her students and looks forward to planning other literary and literacy awareness activities to keep her students excited about reading all year long. This series does an awesome job of fitting Mrs. Jean’s theme for this year: “Ignite the Reader, Elevate the Mind!”
